LEGAL ASSISTANT (Full-Time and On-Site in Manhattan, New York)
The ideal Legal Assistant will be responsible for legal support and must also have a willingness to learn and grow, be resourceful and independent, and take on additional administrative, communications, and financial responsibilities over time. They should possess excellent organizational skills, strong oral and written communication skills, a strong work ethic, and be able to effectively handle multiple priorities with confidence and ease.
Responsibilities
- – Provides administrative support to attorneys and law firm operations
- – Coordinates internal/external meetings, conference calls and Zoom meetings
- – Responds and follows up on client requests
- – Upload, organize, circulate and monitor documents via DocuSign
- – Prepare client matters in multiple systems (Outlook, TABS3, Worldox)
- – Responsible for participation in general administrative duties (copying, filing, faxing, archiving), ad-hoc projects, committees and/or group events
- – Assist with law firm training and presentation sessions
- – Provide administrative assistance to the day-to-day operation
- – Engage in client contact and responsible follow up
- – Data entry and social media
- – Expense reports and related follow up
- – Assist with monthly attorney billing
- – Assist attorneys with documents and research
- – Responsible for client interface and client communications
- – Update attorney communications calendar and assist with all communications initiatives (articles, social media posts)

- – Pay: $52,500.00 – $60,000.00 per year
