• Summary

    Tyla A. Swinton is an Associate with Reavis Page Jump LLP.  Her practice focuses on employment law, workplace investigations, compliance counseling, litigation strategy, and diversity and inclusion training.  She advises clients on personnel decisions, federal contractor compliance, and affirmative action planning, and conducts internal investigations and customized workplace training programs.  Prior to joining RPJ, Ms. Swinton practiced at a defense-side litigation firm where she defended corporate clients in matters involving allegations of workplace discrimination, harassment, and bias, and conducted internal investigations for publicly traded, privately held, and not-for-profit organizations.  She has also represented clients in mediations other dispute resolution venues, and is a contributor to legal publications on these subjects.

    Ms. Swinton is admitted to practice law in New York.

    Ms. Swinton received her B.A. in Political Science with a Minor in English from Howard University (magna cum laude, 2018), where she was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa and served as Executive Vice President of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, International. She earned her J.D. from Penn State Law at The Pennsylvania State University (2021), where she was inducted into the Order of Barristers and served as President of the Black Law Students Association.
