Women’s City Club ”Moving History Forward” Award Honors Dr. Michelle Bachelet

The Women’s City Club will confer its Eleanor Roosevelt “Moving History Forward” Award on Dr. Michelle Bachelet, a long-time champion of gender equality, at its annual reception and lecture on October 31, 2012.  A former President of Chile, Dr. Bachelet serves as the first Under-Secretary-General and Executive Director of UN Women, the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women,  an organization that promotes and supports gender equality and the empowerment of women at global, regional and national levels.

RPL Managing Partner, Heidi Reavis, serves as Chair of the Board of Directors of the Women’s City Club.
