RPJ Congratulates Two Clients on Their Climbing Documentaries Premiering This Month

Premiering on September 28 is Free Solo, a documentary feature about professional rock climber and RPJ client Alex Honnold’s completion of the first free solo climb in history of Yosemite National Park’s granite rock face El Capitan in June 2017, hailed by The New York Times as “one of the great athletic feats of any kind, ever.” RPJ Partner Nicole Page represented Mr. Honnold for this project.

The second film, The Dawn Wall, stars professional rock climbers Tommy Caldwell and Kevin Jorgeson following their journey to complete the first free ascent in history of El Capitan on the southeast wall, the Dawn Wall, in January 2015. The Dawn Wall premiered on September 14 in New York and Los Angeles, and is co-produced by RPJ client Sender Films LLC.
