amNewYork Quotes Heidi Reavis on WCC Rebrand

Last week, the Women’s City Club of New York celebrated its new name and rebranding as Women Creating Change with a ceremonious morning ringing the opening bell at Nasdaq. The membership-based organization’s mission has always been to empower women, but with its rebranding WCC is focusing on expanding its reach, diversity and access to include women from not only Manhattan, but from all five boroughs.

amNewYork spoke with RPJ Partner Heidi Reavis, who is Chair of the Board for WCC, on the exciting change:

“There are many in this city who may have the desire to improve their lives and create change in their communities, but who don’t know the first thing about where to start or how to get involved. We are aiming to provide more people with tools and a platform for creating change.”
