Congratulations to RPJ Client Jess Devaney and Multitude Films on their Recent Emmy Win!

Multitude Films’ “Lowndes County and the Road to Black Power” received the Emmy Award for Outstanding Research: Documentary this past weekend. This important film tells the story of the young Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC) organizers who fought in Lowndes County, Alabama to advance the movements for voting rights and Black Power. Multitude dedicates their Emmy win to “the untold and under-told stories of Black American history.”

In addition to receiving an Emmy for Outstanding Research, this film was nominated for Outstanding Editing. Congratulations again to Multitude Films on this truly well done and thought-provoking film which is now available to watch on Peacock and Apple TV.
