Two Clients’ Films Make Shortlist for 2019 IDA Awards

The Feeling of Being Watched makes IDA Awards shortlistYesterday, the International Documentary Association (IDA) announced the shortlist for its 35th Annual IDA Documentary Awards, and two films by RPJ clients made the cut for Best Documentary Feature. The first, Roll Red Roll, directed by Nancy Schwartzman and produced by Jessica Devaney and Steven Lake, follows the story of high school football and sexual assault that occurred in Steubenville, Ohio, in 2012. The second, The Feeling of Being Watched, follows Algerian-American journalist Assia Boundaoui as she investigates rumors that her Arab-American neighborhood outside Chicago has long been under FBI surveillance. Both films have received much acclaim since their 2018 premieres, and we are thrilled for our clients’ success.

IDA will announce the final 10 nominees on October 23, with the awards ceremony to follow on December 7.
