Congratulations to RPJ client Cowboy Bear Ninja on their nomination for “Best Documentary” for their film Hummingbirds for the upcoming 2025 Film Independent Spirit Awards. This punk-rock film follows the lived experience of its two directors as young women in a queer coming-of-age-story set on the Texas-Mexico border. The documentary celebrates activism, friendship and joy as tools for survival and resistance, and won the Grand Prix Jury Prize at Berlinale in 2023. Congratulations to the entire team on this tremendous accomplishment!
