RPJ Partner Deena R. Merlen Announces CLE Program on Legal Pitfalls in Advertising and Marketing
With technology and social media changing the game for advertising at an ever increasing pace, companies and marketers are trying to stay ahead of the curve while avoiding a wide range of legal pitfalls involving rights clearance, advertising to children, substantiation and other vital issues.
On Tuesday, October 2, RPJ Partner Deena R. Merlen and Catherine O’Connor, with whom Ms. Merlen co-chairs the Entertainment, Intellectual Property and Media Law Committee of the Fairfield County Bar Association (FCBA), will be joined by an illustrious panel of in-house counsel including Joe Khanna, Esq. of MasterCard, Monique Pelletier, Esq. of Subway and Lauren Dienes-Middlen, Esq. of WWE in presenting a CLE luncheon program at the FBCA offices in Stamford, CT, titled, “Advertising and Marketing Pitfalls: Staying on the Right Side of the Law.”
