Defamation and First Amendment Workshop with RPL Partner Nicole Page– RESCHEDULED

On Wednesday, March 15th, RPL Partner Nicole Page will lead a workshop on defamation and the first amendment. Hosted by Women Make Movies, this workshop will look at how recent high-profile defamation cases could have a chilling effect on free speech, and how documentary filmmakers can protect themselves moving forward.

Women Make Movies is a multicultural, multiracial, non-profit media arts organization which facilitates the production, promotion, distribution and exhibition of independent films and videotapes by and about women. Ms. Page is proud to serve as President of the Board for the organization.
