RPJ Client Engel Entertainment’s New Docuseries “Women on Death Row” Premiering Friday on A&E!
50+ women are on death row today, awaiting execution and possible reprieve – some with hope, others resigned, many changed. Understand what got them there and get an insider’s view of life for women on death row in Engel Entertainment’s groundbreaking new series on A&E, ‘Women on Death Row’, premiering this Friday, August 4, at 10pm/9c. Following the premiere, the series will be available for streaming.
“Women on Death Row” follows the crimes, the trials, the appeals, and the lives of the select few women in America sentenced to the death penalty. Each episode focuses on the journey of one woman, exploring the details of the crime committed, the trial process leading to conviction, the sentencing rationale, and in some cases the appeals process. This docuseries tactfully explores and translates the legal processes associated with the death penalty and death row, and the continued relationships of these women with people “on the outside.”
Congratulations to Engel Entertainment and especially the RPJ team led by Heidi and Katie who worked for months directly with the prisons, law enforcement, and inmate legal representatives, to make this groundbreaking docuseries a reality.
