RPJ Partner Deena R. Merlen to Speak at FAF Youth Assembly Gala at Japan Society
RPJ Partner Deena R. Merlen is pleased to announce the 21st Session of the Youth Assembly to be held at the United Nations from February 14 through 16. Organized on the theme of “Innovation and Collaboration for a Sustainable World,” this 21st Session of the Youth Assembly will bring together approximately 1,000 young leaders and entrepreneurs between the ages of 16 and 26 from over 100 countries in conversation with representatives from the public sector, industry, faith-based organizations, philanthropy, academia and civil society. The Youth Assembly is a project of Friendship Ambassadors Foundation (“FAF”), a 501(c)(3) NGO formally associated with the UN Department of Public Information and in Consultative Status with ECOSOC and UNESCO.
Ms. Merlen, who has served on the FAF board since 2011, is among the invited speakers at the Gala Reception for the delegates, ambassadors and other UN high officials and guests attending this 21st Session. The Gala, to be held at the Japan Society on Thursday night, February 15, will feature music and dance performances in tribute to FAF’s late Artistic Director, Ms. Yin-Chu Jou, whose vision for peace and sustainability through cultural exchange and youth leadership has guided FAF for over a decade.
