RPJ Sponsors Inaugural Women Creating Change State of New York City Women Conference

RPJ is proud to announce that, this past Tuesday, October 14, was the inaugural Women Creating Change State of New York City Women Conference, of which RPJ was the law firm sponsor.  The Conference, held at Civic Hall, brought together City leaders in government, industry, and non-profits from across the 5 boroughs to discuss some of the most pressing issues facing New York City today and pathways to solutions.

On the docket were topics including labor and economic security, reproductive rights and childcare support, immigration and security, education and civic engagement, and the impact of AI and social media on communities.  Participants from over 250+ leading organizations, financial institutions and government agencies heard from experts in the field and direct funders regarding national trends and inspiring community initiatives.

In attendance, representing RPJ at the Conference, were RPJ’s Heidi Reavis (prior Chair and current Counsel of WCC), Hannah Brefeld, Tyla Swinton, and Kaycee Portillo-Sorto.

RPJ is proud to sponsor events like these, dedicated to empowering change-makers and solution-seekers in their communities.  Part of the central message at the Conference was “Do Something” – to contribute how and where each of us can.
