RPJ’s Nicole Page Interview with “Page Six” on Ongoing Legal Battle Between Blakely Lively and Justin Baldoni
Yesterday, RPJ’s Nicole Page spoke to Page Six about the damages claimed by Baldoni in his suit against Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds. Ms. Page noted that Baldoni, who is seeking $400 million in damages for defamation and extortion, is “messaging that [he] will fight to the death to defend his name and bring Lively and Reynolds down.” Ms. Page also noted that the $400 million figure is an exorbitant amount that Baldoni is unlikely to recover. “Defamation claims often involve speculative and subjective damages. Because of that, it’s not uncommon for plaintiffs in defamation lawsuits to claim stratospheric damages.”
