RPL Partner Deena R. Merlen Speaks at the United Nations

RPL Partner Deena R. Merlen was privileged to speak at the Opening Session of the Annual Youth Assembly at the United Nations on February 1, 2017. The event brought together exceptional youth delegates from 85 countries with ambassadors and other UN high officials, intra-governmental organizations, non-governmental organizations and other partners and stakeholders for an intensive assembly focused on young people’s role in realizing the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The Annual Youth Assembly at the United Nations is a project of Friendship Ambassadors Foundation (“FAF”), a 501(c)(3) non-governmental organization formally associated with the UN Department of Public Information and in Consultative Status with ECOSOC and UNESCO. Ms. Merlen has served on the FAF Board of Directors since 2011.
