Client Film “Roll Red Roll” Nominated for a Peabody Award

We are thrilled to congratulate director/producer Nancy Schwartzman on the recent nomination of her film Roll Red Roll for a Peabody Award! The Peabody Awards recognize exceptional storytelling in news, television, documentary film, radio and public service programming, and are known as one of the highest honors in media. Roll Red Roll, which tells the story of the 2012 high school rape case in Steubenville, Ohio, uncovers the role of social media and an inherent “boys will be boys” culture in how the incident unfolded and how it was handled thereafter. Since its premiere in 2018, the film has garnered rave reviews and won seven Best Documentary Film awards at film festivals around the world. It is among 60 titles nominated for Peabody Awards from a submission pool of over 1,200, and one of only 20 nominees in the Documentaries category. Winners will be announced later this year.

Congratulations to the entire Roll Red Roll production team, including RPJ attorney Nicole Page, who provided production legal counsel. A wonderful accomplishment!

Roll Red Roll is now streaming on Netflix.
