Celebrating RPJ Clients at the 2026 Tribeca Festival
The 2026 Tribeca Festival lineup has officially been announced, and we’re thrilled to celebrate a remarkable group of RPJ clients whose films will premiere at this year’s festival. From powerful documentaries to bold cultural portraits, these projects showcase the creativity and storytelling of the filmmakers, producers, and creative teams we are honored to represent, and who continue to define independent film today.
From Words + Pictures comes Born Melo, an intimate documentary portrait of former NBA star Carmelo Anthony as he reflects on his legacy following his Hall of Fame induction. The film also follows his son, Kiyan, as he begins his own collegiate basketball journey, offering a layered look at family, legacy, and the passing of the torch between generations.
Cynthia Lowen and Jon Cohrs’ Kids Like Me is a moving documentary exploring disability, identity, belonging, and the experiences shaping today’s youth with compassion and honesty.
From filmmakers Daniel J. Chalfen, Mike Attie, Katarina Poljak, and Nathan Stenberg, Haunting of Pennhurst is a chilling new feature that revisits the history and mythology surrounding the infamous Pennhurst State School and Hospital, blending psychological horror with real-world legacy.
Jean-Michel, directed by Quinn Whitney Wilson and Viridiana Lieberman, offers an intimate portrait of the life and work of Neo-Expressionist artist Jean-Michel Basquiat.
Bang My Box: The Robin Byrd Story produced by Caroline Waterlow, chronicles the life and career of legendary public access television personality Robin Byrd, celebrating her singular voice and cultural influence.
