RPJ Client Viridiana Lieberman’s “Jean-Michel” Lands at Netflix and Earns Tribeca Award

A huge congratulations to RPJ client Viridiana Lieberman on Netflix’s acquisition of Jean-Michel, the acclaimed new documentary she directed with Quinn Whitney Wilson.

Following its recent Tribeca premiere, Jean-Michel won Best Editing in a Documentary Feature at the 25th Annual Tribeca Festival, honoring the work of editors Viridiana Lieberman and Rebecca Adorno. The film explores the life and legacy of Jean-Michel Basquiat, the groundbreaking Neo-Expressionist artist whose work transformed the contemporary art world and established him as one of the most influential cultural figures of the twentieth century. Drawing from never-before-seen archives and the voices of those who knew him best, the film offers a rare and intimate portrait of the artist behind the icon. Produced with the participation of Basquiat’s family, the film reexamines his enduring impact through a deeply personal lens.

Congratulations to Viri and the entire filmmaking team on these exciting achievements!
