Congratulations to RPJ Client Jezebel Productions on the PBS Premiere of “The Five Demands”
Jezebel Productions’ documentary, The Five Demands, has garnered widespread acclaim since its premiere at the Pan African Film Festival in Los Angeles, where it received a heartfelt standing ovation. Following its festival success, the film drew in audiences at art house cinemas, starting with a packed sneak preview at Maysles Cinema in Harlem, followed by sold-out screenings and lively discussions at Firehouse Cinema in New York.
The film’s impact was further recognized at the Roxbury International Film Festival in Boston, where it won the Henry Hampton Award for Excellence in Documentary Filmmaking. Its powerful storytelling has also sparked meaningful community discussions, connecting today’s youth with the student activists of 1969. We note that RPJ’s Helen D. Reavis and Daniel Jason Ain provided legal counsel on this production.
The Five Demands debuted nationwide on PBS stations yesterday, September 4th. Be sure to check your local listings for broadcast times.
