New York Times Profiles RPJ Client Alex Honnold Ahead of Taipei 101 Climb

The New York Times today profiled professional rock climber and RPJ client Alex Honnold as he prepares for his highly publicized live, free solo, ascent of Taipei 101, the largest skyscraper in Taiwan.  The climb will be streamed live on Netflix tomorrow, January 23 at 8:00PM (EST).

In an in-depth interview, the Times article explores examines Honnold’s motivations, his approach to risk and preparation for the climb, including how he has trained extensively to build upper-body endurance, and practiced the route multiple times with ropes.
