Congratulations to Alex Honnold on the Announcement of his new National Geographic Series

Disney+ has given the go-ahead to On the Edge with Alex Honnold, a three-part docuseries produced by Plimsoll Productions for National Geographic.

The star climber charmed audiences in 2018 with the Oscar Award-winning documentary Free Solo, in which he bravely takes on El Capitan in Yosemite National Park, one of the most challenging big wall climbs in the world. In On the Edge, he will put his mettle to the grindstone once again as he faces off with some of Greenland’s most ambitious and far-flung climbs, a lifelong dream of the 36-year-old.

Congratulations to Alex! We’ll be watching as he addresses issues of climate change with some of the world’s leading scientific authorities, and as he confronts some of the Arctic’s most convoluted conditions first-hand, scaling famed-titans like Peak 3342, one of the highest summits in Greenland and uncharted climbing territory.
