Read Alliance to Hold Annual Gala and Present its Leadership Award to Reavis Page Jump’s Mark Moore

On Tuesday, May 14, 2024, the Read Alliance will hold its Annual Gala, “Soaring with Read Alliance,” at The Lighthouse at Pier 61 in New York City.  The gala will include cocktails, dinner and auctions, followed by an afterparty at the locale’s veranda. RPJ has been a staunch supporter of the Read Alliance for ten years.

Read Alliance works to accelerate the educational trajectory of early elementary students through teens who provide one-on-one literacy tutoring in under-resourced communities in New York, with a recent expansion into Pennsylvania. Since its inception in 2000, the organization has served some 20,000 students and 16,500 teen leaders—a dual impact that is the hallmark of Read Alliance’s mission.

Read Alliance will be presenting its Leadership Award to RPJ’s Mark Moore, who has served on the Read Alliance board for ten years, chairs its Governance and Nominating Committee, and serves on its Fundraising and Expansion Committees.  Read Alliance will be honoring Adam Baxter, Managing Director at Argo Infrastructure and a long serving and valued board member of Read Alliance.  The organization will present its Vision Award to Alicia Keys, the prominent artist, entrepreneur and activist.
