Reavis Page Jump LLP’s Daniel Ain to Speak at Documentary Producers Alliance Event on Filmmaker Rights and Legal Risks

On Tuesday, April 21 at 3:30 PM ET, RPJ’s Daniel Ain will speak at an event hosted by the Documentary Producers Alliance (DPA) titled “Rights, Risks, and Realities for Filmmakers.” The event will bring together filmmakers and industry professionals to discuss the evolving legal landscape shaping documentary production.

Mr. Ain advises filmmakers, production companies, and other content creators on a broad range of media and entertainment matters, including intellectual property, rights and clearances, production legal, and distribution arrangements. He will join a panel discussion and answer audience questions on a range of timely legal issues facing creators today, including the use of generative artificial intelligence and fair use in productions, and structuring participation and distribution agreements.

The conversation will be hosted by DPA Membership Engagement Committee Co-Chair Joe Schroeder.
