RPJ’s Nafsika Karavida Featured on Panel Navigating International Business Employment, Immigration and Transatlantic Mobility before Members of the European American Chamber of Commerce
Yesterday, Nafsika Karavida of RPJ, along with Naveen Bhora of WR Immigration, addressed European American Chamber of Commerce Members on legal issues in international business and employment in their panel presentation: “Immigration and Employment Issues – How European and US Citizens Navigate Living & Working Across the Pond.”
Ms. Karavida provided invaluable insights into the challenges professionals face along with the opportunities presented when citizens of one country are employed abroad, focusing on a range of legal issues including employment and benefits, “digital nomads” and technology, privacy and government monitoring, legal implications of working-from-anywhere abroad, applicable law and reach of American law, legal claims and private arbitration, and other complex issues. Her discussion highlighted not only legal aspects of international employment but also strategic considerations for businesses looking to expand their talent pool internationally. The presentation fostered a vibrant dialogue, with attendees eager to ask questions and share their experiences. It was clear that many participants are navigating similar challenges, making the exchange of information all the more valuable.
