Deena Merlen Quoted by Bloomberg on FDA Approval for Covid-19 Vaccines

In further Covid-19 vaccinations updates, Pfizer Inc. and its partner BioNTech SE have requested that the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) fully approve their vaccine, which is still only authorized for emergency use. If Covid-19 vaccines get full FDA approval, will more employers take a shot at requiring their employees to get vaccinated?

RPJ Partner Deena R. Merlen was quoted in the recent Bloomberg news article “Vaccine Mandates at Work Set for Uptick After Full FDA Approval,” noting that although vaccine mandates will remain divisive, “full FDA approval of a Covid vaccine will at least dismantle the argument that employees should not have to choose between their job and accepting a vaccine they regard as experimental due to its emergency use authorization.”
